What Are Gift Certificates?

They're basically an electronic gift voucher - similar to paper gift vouchers only they're sent electronically.

How Can I Buy Gift Certificates?

Gift Certificates can be bought like any of our other products - simply add as many as you wish to your shopping basket. Once you've paid for them, the total amount will be added to your personal 'Gift Certificate Account'. Each time you log onto our site, your current balance will be displayed in your shopping cart.

How Do I Buy Products Using My Gift Certificates?

If you have funds in your Gift Certificate Account, you can use them to buy any product on our site. When you get to the 'checkout' an extra box will appear, allowing you to use some/all of your balance to pay for your items. You will be required to select another payment method if there is not enough in your Gift Certificate Account to cover your shopping cart total.

If you have more funds in your Gift Certificate Account than the total cost of your purchase, the balance will remain in your account, to be spent at a later date.

How Can I Send a Gift Certificate to Someone Else?

Log on, click on the 'Send Gift Certificate' link which you'll find in your Shopping Cart (right hand column on every page). To send someone a Gift Certificate you will simply need to let us know the following details:

• The name of the person you would like to send the Gift Certificate to
• Their email address
• The amount that you would like to send them (you can send all or part of your balance)
• The message that you'd like us to send to the recipient

I Have Been Sent a Gift Certificate - How Can I Spend It?

If you have received a Gift Certificate by email, it will contain details of who sent it to you, along with a message from them. The email will also contain a 'Gift Certificate Redemption Code'. (You might prefer to print this email for future reference). You can now redeem your Gift Certificate in two ways:

• Click on the link contained within the email
• You'll be directed to our 'Redeem Gift Certificate' page
• You will then be asked to create a Kids' Footprints log in
• Your Gift Certificate will be validated and placed in your own 'Gift Certificate Account'

Alternatively if you already have a Kids' Footprints log in, when you reach the checkout stage and select your payment method, you'll see a box to enter your 'Redemption Code' and simply need to click the 'Redeem' button. Your Gift Certificate will be validated and your Gift Certificate Account will be credited, ready for you to pay for your items.

How Long Do We Have To Spend Our Certificate(s)?

As long as you like! There are no expiry dates, so they can take your time when choosing exactly what you'd like to buy.
